Inna Modja is a French-Malian multidisciplinary artist, musician, filmmaker, and global advocate for gender equality and climate justice.

Her Photography is inspired by the work of her mentor Malick Sidibé, and West African Photographers of the 60’s. Growing up in Bamako, she was fascinated by the natural elegance of people in the streets, which she loves to capture in sophisticated compositions.

In her 15-year tenure as an activist, she has dedicated herself to fighting female genital mutilation and advocate for a sustainable future. As a Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD), she’s been working on finding solutions to combat desertification & drought, and tell the stories of the communities living on the frontline of climate change.

She co-founded Code Green, a non-profit harnessing the power of art and technology, to support social & climate justice. With her team, they’re exploring the potentials of blockchain, helping a growing community of artists and communities harness the power of technology to help heal the Earth and fight for radical green justice.
